Valley views from your private balcony

Picture this: you wake up from the chirping birds, walk (barefoot) onto your private balcony with a warm cup of tea, and watch the sun slowly rise over the peaceful Ribeira d’Ilhas valley. Or after a day of adventure, you sink into a chair with a glass of wine, your favorite person beside you, and the sky painted in sunset colors. This room is made for those moments.

Located on the first floor, this is our most romantic room — filled with natural light, charm, and stunning views. It features a luxurious king-size bed (180x200), a multifunctional desk with storage drawers, and a beautifully restored vintage coat stand passed down from my grandmother, adding a personal touch to the space.

Two French doors open onto a spacious private balcony, finished with traditional Portuguese tiles. And furnished with a table and two chairs to take in the stunning views over the Ribeira d’Ilhas valley, or simply unwind with a good book and a cup of coffee. Plus two sun loungers - perfect for soaking up the sun or pressing pause on the day. It’s the perfect retreat for couples or solo travelers looking to slow down, reconnect, and a little bit of magic — all from the comfort of your own private haven.

The ensuite bathroom includes both a rain and hand shower, offering a refreshing start or relaxing end to your day.

There are a few different ways to reach us — feel free to choose what suits you best:

1. By Car
We’re on Google Maps, so you can simply follow directions from there.
From Lisbon Airport, it takes around 40 minutes via the highway. Please note that this is a toll road, and sometimes toll booths don’t accept foreign cards — so having a few coins or cash on hand is a good idea.
If you're renting a car, you can usually opt for a Via Verde device. This handy little reader lets you drive straight through tolls and pay later — super convenient!

2. With Our Trusted Driver, Alex
Alex is our reliable Uber partner — always on time and very friendly. He’ll meet you at the airport gate.

  • Price: €45 one way, or €40 each way if you book a round trip with him.
  • Availability: Prices apply between 07:00 and 19:00. Outside these hours, the fare is €50.
  • A ride from Lisbon city center is around €50 one way.

Let us know if you’d like us to book him for you!

3. By Regular Uber
You can also order a standard Uber. The price usually ranges between €40–60 depending on the time of day.
Just a heads-up: lines can be long and drivers sometimes cancel if they get a better offer, so it’s not always the most reliable option.

4. By Public Transport
Start by heading to Campo Grande bus station (about 12 minutes from the airport — you can get there by bus, shuttle, or Uber for around €3).
From Campo Grande, catch a bus to Ericeira. Check the schedule at www.carrismetropolitana.pt or directly at the station.

⚠️ Important: Make sure to take a bus that goes via the highway — these “fast” buses take around 1 hour and run once or twice per hour.
The slower buses can take over 2 hours.

  • Fare: Around €7 (payable on the bus).
Once you arrive at the Ericeira bus station, you’ll need to take an Uber to us, as there’s unfortunately no regular bus from there. The ride should be about €7.

Let us know if you have any questions — we’re happy to help!
