Spacious & light room, perfect for coliving

The largest room of the Barefoot house, can sleep 2 people and has a private bathroom with rain and hand shower. The two big windows give a lot of light and my grand dads desk gives you the opportunity to get some work done or observe the amazing Jacaranda tree. It has a kingsize bed, sofa and a big inbuild closet. The two windows overlook the side garden and the gorgeous valley of Ribeira d’Ilhas. The living room offers a fully equipped kitchen. For every room there is a cupboard plus shelf in the fridge. The big dining table, in front of the fireplace, is perfect for (community) meals. We offer fresh teas and a coffee corner with a good filter machine and grinder, to make a freshly ground coffee. The living room also has a reading/game corner, with relaxed sofa. And a big lounge sofa to chill, overlooking the Ribeira valley and our garden. Attached to the house, you will find our coworking area with 6 communal desks, divided over 2 tables, plus a phone booth for your private call or meeting. The garden has a pool with sunbeds, hammock and some cozy areas to chill. There is a fire bowl and a veranda with bbq and huge Portuguese table. You can rinse of your salty and sandy feet at our outside shower, hidden behind the tree. And store your surf gear in the surf shed. On top of everything we have a therapy room. Which we use for massages, small sessions like breathwork or a workshop. But also can be used to meditate or do your (yoga) practice. It offers space for 4-5 people. And did we mention that it is only a 10 minute walk to the Ribeira beach and the world famous surfspot. For being the only European spot among the World Surfing Reserves and due to the exceptional coastline conditions for the practice of Surf. Ericeira is a popular retreat for locals, tourists, and surfers from around the world, owing to the forty beaches with good conditions. One of the 7 surf spots mentioned in the World Surfing Reserve is Ribeira d’Ilhas, only a 10 minute walk from our Guesthouse. Besides surfing, Ericeira has such a lovely vibe with her mixture of locals, expats and travelers. Even in winter, you can enjoy the Ericeira vibes, for example at one of the terraces at Praça da República. All this, amongst the beautiful green valleys and steep cliffs. And so many amazing and authentic places to explore. We have free parking space, 3 inside the gates and 5 in front of the house. We are located in the (Ribeira) Valley, so everywhere you go, is up! If you like to walk, all good. When you don't or in need of bigger shopping, an Uber is around €4 to Ericeira. Also renting an e-bike or scooter is a very good option.
